Have you ever had one of those “Monday incidents” where it’s not even a Monday, but it certainly feels like one? So far this week, every day feels like a Monday. I’ve been struggling to get out of bed, and find the motivation to do what I have to do. A huge part of this is because I’ve started going to the gym in the morning again, and my body is a bit confused with the change of routine. Kyle can sleep through an alarm clock like it’s his job, (probably a habit formed when he had to sleep in a huge room with 60 other guys a.k.a. barracks) so I’m usually the one that has to wake us up.
I’m more of a morning person than most, but I do struggle sometimes to truly wake up. I move pretty slow at first, which can make the first 20 minutes of any morning workout feel like a complete waste. I don’t have much time to use before work, so as soon as I enter the gym I try to make the very most of it.
